It's rare to find a virgin lot in Lakewood, especially on historic Gaston Avenue, and we were excited for the opportunity to create something special. Perched high on its hill, this home catches glimpses of White Rock Lake in the distance and feels private despite the busy street. When designing this custom home, we could not help but be influenced by the 1920s grand homes along the avenue. This Tudor home was designed to compliment the historical significance of the surrounding area, but with a modern twist. At 5,500 square feet, the home is unique in that it is designed for multi-generational living with a full mother-in-law quarters featuring its own kitchen, en-suite, living, sitting area, and garage.
Maestri Studio provided full-service architecture and interior design for this project.
