Alexander Drive 1

This Lakewood home was originally built in 1952 and had an addition to the rear done some time in the 80s. The owners loved the mid-century modern details of the 4419 sf home and wanted to expand the home for modern living while paying homage to the period. After discovering that the home had a poor foundation, about 95% of the home was demolished to be rebuilt. The formal living/dining room was rebuilt to the original design with a full second floor added to the home as well as a new two-car garage. The design wraps around a central courtyard with a large live oak. The house has an open floor plan with modern details such as wood slat ceilings, steel columns, custom millwork. Maestri Studio provided full-service architecture and interior design for this project including all finish selections, cabinetry design, draperies, furniture and space planning.

Stay tuned for some excited news coming soon about this home!
