Maestri Studio provided full-service interior design for this "Bird Streets" gem. The 1941 Colonial home had been meticulously maintained and unedited, which was a dream to work with. We renovated and re-imagined the kitchen and bathrooms while enhancing and building upon the original character of the home such as the mouldings, french doors, and original crystal chandelier. We wanted to leave as much of the original architecture and scale of the home in tact as possible. Details, furnishings, and custom drapery were designed to give the house a masculine/ Manhattan vibe for our bachelor client. Some of our favorite details are the custom front door, the custom black marble mantel in the living room and the dark/moody lacquered lounge - a perfect spot for a cocktail.
