Designed for the Kips Bay Show House Dallas, Le Salon de Musique is a seamless blend of French and Asian design, inspired by the rich experiences of Eddie Maestri’s travels. Drawing from the grandeur of eighteenth-century French architecture and the serene beauty of Japan and South Korea, Eddie sought to create a space that balances timeless elegance with contemporary style.
The room features a warm, inviting palette that reflects the natural beauty of both cultures, with deep, earthy tones and subtle metallic accents. These elements bring a sense of refined luxury and intimacy. Vibrant wall coverings and carefully chosen textiles infuse the space with dynamic energy, while a striking pendant light evokes the delicate beauty of cherry blossoms, a nod to Eddie’s travels in Asia.
Art Deco-inspired geometric lines and streamlined furniture bring modernity to the design, while custom architectural details like backlit curved wood panels create a captivating play of light and shadow.
