Eddie Maestri, AIA

Eddie Maestri, AIA, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, founded Maestri Studio in 2008.

From the vibrant streets of New Orleans to the heart of Dallas, Eddie Maestri has always been captivated by design. His early fascination with the architecture of his hometown led him to sketch homes and interiors at a young age—a passion that has shaped his career as a licensed architect and the principal of Maestri Studio.

“To this day, I always carry a sketchbook when I travel,” says Eddie. “It’s my way of connecting with the spaces I encounter and learning from them. Sketching is still a key part of my process—it’s how I bring my design ideas to life and communicate them to my clients in a way that feels personal and real.”

He founded Maestri Studio with the vision of creating thoughtful, custom designs that seamlessly integrate architecture and interiors. What started as a solo venture has grown into a dynamic, multidisciplinary studio known for its ability to balance history and modernity, function and beauty. Eddie leads a talented team of professionals, fostering a collaborative atmosphere where independent thinking and innovative design thrive. Whether working on a historic renovation, a sleek new build, or a thoughtfully curated interior, Maestri Studio tailors each project to reflect the client’s vision, needs, and lifestyle.

“I’ve always been captivated by the stories old homes tell,” Eddie shares. “The craftsmanship, the character in every detail. It’s about honoring that history while creating new spaces that continue those stories.”

With a diverse portfolio spanning classic to contemporary styles, Maestri Studio offers a full spectrum of design services, including architecture, interior design, renovations, new construction, historic preservation, and bespoke furnishings. From restoring century-old estates to designing sleek modern homes, the studio’s work is defined by a commitment to craftsmanship, creativity, and tailoring each space to reflect its owner's unique vision. Every project is designed with a deep respect for craftsmanship and individuality, resulting in spaces that feel timeless yet highly personal. Under Eddie’s leadership, Maestri Studio has earned recognition in publications like Architectural Digest and House Beautiful, with accolades including Best Curb Appeal and awards for Historical Restoration projects.

When he’s not working with clients, Eddie’s always got a sketchbook in hand, traveling, and finding inspiration in the world around him. Maestri Studio continues to push the boundaries of design with new partnerships and product collections, including a wallpaper line and the Arcana mantel collection.

When he’s not working with clients, Eddie’s always got a sketchbook in hand, traveling, and finding inspiration in the world around him. His passion for architectural details extends beyond Maestri Studio’s projects, leading to the creation of unique product collections. The Arcana Mantel Collection draws inspiration from architectural elements around the world, reinterpreted into striking fireplace mantels that blend history with modern craftsmanship. Eddie also collaborated with Ever Atelier to create the Montmartre Series, a wallpaper collection that began as his hand-drawn sketches. The result, Architectural Reign, is a bold and thought-provoking design that sparks curiosity and brings a dynamic presence to any space.

For Eddie and the Maestri team, it’s all about creating spaces that tell a story—whether steeped in history or designed for modern living, each one is tailored, meaningful, and undeniably beautiful.
