Set on a premier waterfront lot in Heath, Texas, this 5,500-square-foot modern new construction is conceived as a seamless dialogue between architecture, landscape, and the lake beyond. The design intentionally blurs the boundary between indoors and out, with expansive walls of glass framing views of the water, a curated sculpture garden, and a thoughtfully composed front courtyard.

Arrival is marked by a sheltered entry sequence, where a dramatic roof cutout introduces light and sky into the front courtyard, creating an architectural moment that is both welcoming and contemplative. Inside, the home unfolds with a strong emphasis on transparency and flow, anchored by a floating interior staircase that serves as both a functional and sculptural focal point within the foyer.

Throughout the residence, the architecture prioritizes connection to the landscape, allowing natural light, reflections, and views to shape the daily experience of the home. Large-scale glazing opens living spaces to terraces and outdoor rooms, reinforcing a lifestyle rooted in effortless movement between interior comfort and exterior serenity.
