Beverly

Set on a half-acre site in Highland Park, this 7,200-square-foot residence was designed as a contemporary interpretation of the Tudor homes that define many of Dallas’s historic neighborhoods. The clients, longtime New Yorkers relocating to Texas, were drawn to the sense of architectural tradition found in Highland Park but wanted their home to reflect the sophistication and energy of Manhattan.

Maestri Studio approached the architecture as a reinterpretation rather than a replication. Familiar Tudor elements—gabled forms, tall chimneys, and masonry façades—anchor the home within its historic context, while refined proportions, larger steel windows, and restrained detailing introduce a more modern sensibility.

Subtle Art Deco influences further connect the architecture to the clients’ New York roots. The result is a residence that balances neighborhood tradition with a cosmopolitan perspective, creating a home that feels both timeless and distinctly personal.
