The interiors of this Highland Park home were designed to bring the sophistication of New York living into a residence rooted in Dallas tradition. Having spent years in Manhattan, the clients wanted spaces that felt elegant, layered, and quietly glamorous while remaining comfortable for everyday life.
Maestri Studio developed the interiors as an extension of the home’s architecture, designing custom millwork, cabinetry, and architectural details throughout. Rich wood, sculptural stone, and tailored metalwork introduce subtle Art Deco influences that reflect the clients’ connection to New York while maintaining the warmth expected in a Dallas home.
Several moments draw directly from places meaningful to the clients. The parlor bar, for example, was modeled after the bar at Le Coucou, one of their favorite restaurants in New York. Interpreted through arched marble detailing and custom cabinetry, it creates a refined focal point that captures the spirit of Manhattan hospitality within the home.
