Los Angeles Interior Designer - Maestri Studio
Honored to participate in California Classics alongside Los Angeles's Saving Iconic Architecture. Active in the Rebuild LA initiative through the Design Leadership Network. Designer of Veranda's first-ever virtual showhouse, set in Hollywood.
Maestri Studio has always been drawn to old things. The patina of a well-made room. The proportions of a house designed before shortcuts were possible. The way a Spanish Revival arches its doorways, or a Tudor layers its details, or a Colonial holds its symmetry with quiet confidence. These are the homes that reward close attention, and they are exactly where the studio does some of its most meaningful work.
Los Angeles has an extraordinary inventory of them. Hancock Park Colonials. Los Feliz Tudors. Spanish Revivals throughout the foothills and the Eastside. These homes were built with genuine craft, and they carry a character that no new construction can replicate. What they often need is an interior that understands them, that draws out their warmth and specificity rather than working against the architecture.
That is what Maestri Studio brings to California. Interior design rooted in a deep appreciation for how these homes were made and what makes them worth preserving. Eddie Maestri is honored to participate in California Classics alongside Los Angeles's Saving Iconic Architecture, and in the Rebuild LA initiative through the Design Leadership Network. These are not peripheral commitments. They reflect the studio's genuine investment in the city's architectural legacy.
Maestri Studio was also honored to design Veranda's first-ever virtual showhouse, set in Hollywood. The project brought together some of the most respected names in American design, including Mary McDonald, Jaime Rummerfield, Madeline Stuart, Martyn Lawrence Bullard, and Patricia Benner. The collaboration was a reminder of something the studio has always believed: that strong architectural and interiors planning is the foundation on which all elevated, lasting design is built. Without that foundation, even the most beautiful furnishings are just objects in a room.
Eddie Maestri is an active participant in the Los Angeles design community. He has spoken on panels, designed a window for Legends of La Cienega, and debuted his wallpaper collaboration with Ever Atelier at West Edge LA. His involvement with the Design Leadership Network extends into the LA area through events, initiatives, and ongoing relationships with the designers and tastemakers who shape this market. These are not one-time appearances. They reflect a sustained presence in a city the studio takes seriously.
The studio's California practice is interior design: the rooms, the materials, the light, the furniture, the objects. Maestri Studio draws on nearly two decades of relationships with antique dealers, textile houses, and artisan workshops in the US and Europe, and brings that depth of sourcing to every Los Angeles commission.
The studio's Southern California base is in Manhattan Beach. We serve clients throughout Los Angeles, from the Westside to the foothills, from complete interior commissions to furnishings and procurement for homes already under construction.
